Star Web Installer
Sometimes I see posts from people who would like to install homebrew or custom firmware, but they don't have access to a computer. I decided to make a small program to do that. (It can also be used as an easy way to install the All Install program Smile). It works by using xpd files. When you click on the xpd file with the PSP's web browser, it will download an installer to your PSP. Then, you go into your Game menu, launch the installer, and it will install custom firmwares, or All Install, or other things if needed. There are 3 downloads below. The CFW 6.60 LME v1.8, the CFW 6.60 PRO-C fix3, and the All Install program.

How to use:
If you want to install custom firmware, first make sure that you are on the newest official firmware. If you need to, you can use the System Update option to wirelessly upgrade to 6.60. Then, launch the PSP's internet browser, go to this page, and click on the LME_Install.xpd, or the PRO_Install.xpd. When the download is finished, exit the web browser, go into your Game menu, and launch the installer. When it's finished, you'll find the CFW installer and launcher in your Game menu. (PRO's installer is called Update, and the launcher is called Fast Recovery). Run the CFW installer first, and then you can run the launcher when you want to start the CFW. Now you can use homebrew, ISO's, plugins, etc. (PRO also comes with a CIPL Flasher. That is for fully hackable PSP's, and it will make the PRO CFW permanent. Fully hackable PSP's are PSP 1000's, and early model 2000's only).

To install the All Install program, launch the PSP's internet browser, go to this page, and click on the AI_Installer.xpd. When the download is finished, exit the web browser, go into your Game menu, and launch the installer. When it's finished, you'll see All Install in your Game menu. (There's a user guide in PSP/GAME/AllInstall).

Credits:
Thanks to Sakya for his P-SPot Extractor. The installer is based on his source code.
Thanks to Anonymous Tipster for his Unzip/Unrar program. His source code was used in the P-SPot Extractor.
Thanks to kacperski1 for his MoonLoader. That's what first introduced me to xpd files and the P-SPot Extractor.

Coolbeans.

I made this for people:
tinyurl.com/psp-web-dl
It's faster than going to allinstallforum then finding this topic.

Yeah, I should probably upload these to a few more places. Good idea, xjakekyrianx. I plan on keeping this forum up for a long time, but if it ever goes down, I'll make sure to bring back the web installer programs first.

Yes, it should work fine. The installer is signed, both of those custom firmwares can work on a PSP 3000, and the All Install program will work after a custom firmware is installed. The only thing that won't work is the CIPL flasher for PRO. That is only for 1000's, and early model 2000's.
